The diverse ecosystem supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lion, cheetah and packs of wild dog in the open grasslands. Accommodation: Bedouin Bush Camp • MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Description
The Bedouin Bush Camp is located in the heart of Botswana on a private concession that’s just a 2 hour drive from Maun – your gateway to the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve. Listen to the amazing sounds of the bush at night or watch one of the many elephants strolling around the camp at daylight. This basic camp is a true gem in the bush and most of the travellers unanimously agreed upon one thing: they want to go back! This Tented Camp is nestled deep in the bush and the river is frequently visited by animals such as elephant, impala, kudu, warthogs, lion and many more. By far the biggest highlight of this camp is that once you step into a vehicle, the game drive already begins. There’s no need to drive further than the concession because all the beautiful animals are right at your door step. With eight comfortable tents all with en-suite bathrooms positioned privately under big Acacia trees (covering an area of approximately 5000 m2) guests can relax in the privacy and the authenticity of the area while enjoying the astounding Botswana bush.

Day 2

BEDOUIN BUSH CAMP • MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Day Notes
After breakfast we will be picked up by our local Botswana guides and take a short drive to the mekoro stations. From here, we float in dug-out canoes through the thick vegetation of the Okavango Delta discovering a variety of birds and wildlife. Unlike other deltas, it flows into the Kalahari Desert without ever reaching the coast. After this spectacular excursion, we make our way to the camp, which is situated in close proximity to the famous Khwai River. After settling into the camp, we will enjoy dinner and embark on a night game drive in the private concession – a fantastic opportunity to spot some nocturnal animals that are more difficult to encounter during the day. (BLD) Distance: 100km; Departure 08h00 Accommodation: permanent tents with en-suite bathrooms Please note that there is no electricity at camp.
Day 7: Destination: Nata

Situated 180 kilometres north of Francistown, the small village of Nata is a popular stopover between Maun and Kasane along the ‘game drive route’ (there is often a chance to catch a glimpse of wildlife along the way). The unique surrounding landscapes feature white sand, tall termite mounds, and Mokolwane palm trees. The Nata Sanctuary is a particular highlight for avid bird watchers, where lucky visitors can be rewarded with large flocks of Flamingos and Pelicans, which breed here each year. The town is also a perfect base for exploring the legendary and spectacular Makgadikgadi Pans, where quad biking and four-wheel-drive tours can be enjoyed.

Day 3

Day Notes
We have the opportunity to spend the day on game drives. In the open 4×4 vehicle explore the Greater Khwai River area on morning and afternoon game drives hopefully spotting a variety of game that frequent this region. This area is renowned for its large concentrations of mammals and it is not unusual to see many different type of wildlife during just one game drive. Game viewing is seasonal; depending on the time of the end of the dry season or spring from August to November. During this season, in order for us to offer the best game viewing possible, extra driving may be required due to the animals migrating closer to the river. In the summer, birdlife can also viewed in abundance with exceptional sightings of wildfowl and raptors. (BLD) Distance: 150km; Departure 07h00 Accommodation: permanent tents with en-suite bathrooms

Day 4

Day Notes
Today we head back into the famous Moremi Game Reserve known as one of the most beautiful and varied reserves in Africa with an unprecedented concentration of wildlife. The full day is spent in  the unspoiled nature of reserve which is home to a great diversity of plant and animal life -making it a ‘must see’ for a Botswana Safari. It contains – within its boundaries – approximately 20% of the Delta, and a vast range of habitats, acacia forests, floodplains, reed beds, lagoons, enduring wetland through mopane forest and dry savannah woodland. Distance: 120km; Departure 07h00 (BLD) Accommodation: permanent tents, with en-suite bathrooms
Accommodation: Kasane

Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park and game such as elephant and hippo are often spotted roaming around the town. If on the lookout for elusive game, pay a visit to the Sedudu Valley Road, where large dead trees provide temporary homes for leopards. Within Kasane, an ancient baobab tree stands on display, once serving as a local prison. Visitors can look forward to a multitude of activities including: enjoying a game drive through the park, taking a sunset cruise down the Chobe River, visiting a local village or jumping on a day trip to the breathtaking Victoria Falls.
